Hello, I'm Melanie, also known as "Mel," and I'm the proud owner of Braids By Mel.
My love for hair braiding began at the age of 10, and has been a significant part of my life ever since. After years of braiding my own hair and receiving positive feedback from friends, I decided to turn my passion into a business.
At Braids by Mel, we offer a range of services including African braids, faux locs, cornrows, twists, and more. Since our establishment, we've been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement from our clients. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing our clients leave with a smile on their face after experiencing our services.
It's important to note that we're not limited to African textured hair and can work with various hair types.

In order to enhance service quality and effectively manage our schedule, appointments are available by reservation only and require a deposit to secure your booking.

Regrettably, without a deposit, we cannot ensure your reservation and may need to offer the slot to another customer if needed.

Please be advised that we exclusively work with pre-stretched extensions, preferably X-pression, and hair extensions can be provided upon request.
